I noticed that when the client shares a post to facebook the excerpt text looks wrong..
Instead of displaying the first lines of the main article it displays tags and the title again!
The facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/Serrespost-1884628254895723
(Note the client share posts for another site too -verrosike.gr- which is displaying just fine)

The post sharing in socials is handled by the Yoast SEO plugin (this is the recommended plugin), the theme has no control over this

Thank you for the reply. So, you suggest me to install the Yoast plugin in order to get proper excerpt text from the posts?
I am asking that because my client shares posts from an other wordpress site and the excerpt text is being displayed just fine. (We did not install any plugin such as Yoast in that site).

Yes that is correct. Maybe the theme used on the other website has options for social sharing customization. Please install the Yoast SEO plugin, this is recommended to be used with the theme in this regard. It will add the necessary functionality and options for share customization.
