Featured gallery

Hi there,

is there a way to have a featured gallery instead of a featured image/video, say at the top of the post template?

Hi,

That would be possible using a post template that does not display the featured image in the single post page, like post templates 5 or 12

Then place the gallery in the top part of the post, it will appear as featured. In the backend an actual featured image still has to be set, to create the thumbnails.

Hi Simion, thank you the solution you suggest is what I have in place right now on many posts. My idea was to have a gallery on top of the title (like in templates with videos on top). I guess that would need some customization of the templates.

Any plan to include this feature in the future?

Hi,

That would only be possible thorough code modifications of the post template files, maybe. I couldn’t say if there are any plans to modify the current post template designs and functionality, or add new ones. At some point there will be more added.
