Featured Video How to choose a local link？

Only videos from the sources mentioned in this guide, can be set as featured videos
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
So that means only videos from Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Facebook can be used in that field. In future updates this could change, but I could not say when exactly this will happen.

If you want to customize them you could do it with CSS. Like changing the font-size for example, or adding a color

That is the excerpt. The excerpts length can be controlled for each module that displays them, like this

In this case it would be better if you would change the general type of the excerpt by letters, for a better detection.

I could not say if there will be any modifications to the default playlist, like the ones you mention. But maybe you could use plugins that would have more options, and not be restricted. There must be some video playlist plugins that you could try.
Additionally you could disable the default theme sharing in the theme panel, and use a sharing plugin that supports other social networks. I believe there are many sharing plugins that you can use.
