Flex block 1 on homepage not following filter rules

flex block 1 homepage hi, i have been uploading new stories to the site and flex block 1 on my homepage is set to display the latest stories without any other filter settings. it infact doesnt update to show the latest stories and reverts back to the same story dated march 22nd. this could be happenning with other flex boxes but this is the issue i found so far. i have attached an image link.

Hello,

Please edit the search template, select the block and remove the offset -> https://i.imgur.com/dJ0iFQu.png let that field empty.
