I am using Newspaper theme and I added footer > “FOOTER COPYRIGHT TEXT” with
a href=”http://www.externaldomain.com”> Domain‘ in this message)
It works perfectly on Desktop, but when i opened it on Mobile the external a href is not working properly and the externaldomain.com link looks like http://www.mydomain.com/%22http://www.externaldomain.com/%22

Please update your theme to the latest version of the theme (7.1) and test the copyright again. You can follow this guide to update : https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
I tested the copyright link on mobile and desktop and it works as expected.

Sorry, I just updated to 7.1 but still I;m facing the issue which i noticed. I deleted the cache and all.

I have the same issue on 7.2.
in the td_panel_footer.php the line is changed on “echo td_panel_generator::checkbox(array(” in 7.2 but i have the same problem mentioned above in mobile.

Hello,
The issue was fixed in the standard theme but not added to the optional mobile theme plugin at the moment. I added this on our list for future fixes and we will ad this fix to the mobile theme plugin as soon as possible.
