it looks like that because you’re editing the Footer page and that is the footer of the editor, not the footer that will be rendered on your page.

After that you will have to go into footer and add that footer page as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/DAz1DcMP3G1 Now you should only see the editable footer.
