I run two blogs: welt-explorer.com and planet-mexiko.com. For the first one in any article the featured image ist shown in full width, but for planet-mexiko.com, the image is limited to the size of the layout. How can I change that and have full width for the blog articles?

This situation is because this website is using a boxed layout https://www.planet-mexiko.com/wirtschaft/wirtschaft-handel-export/ (do to the background image) – https://i.imgur.com/mHvFNwm.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
To have the same results you’ll need to remove the background image and make sure that your website has no longer the option for boxed layout.
