Is it possible to get a full background color changed “long read” for single articles? , that has a different color than the rest of the theme?

Hello!
Sure. Use multiple blocks and change the background color as you like in the tagdiv composer. Also, you can add a block to each row and change the background color of the row. Another way to achieve this is to use custom modules and customize them as you like (so they can be different). Read the useful documentation here:
