Gallery Widget

I’m trying to add a sliding gallery widget to a sidebar and I can’t make the settings save. Please help me figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Here’s what I have been doing:
Slide widget to sidebar
Add images to it
Settings
Link To: None
Columns: 1
Random Order
Size: Thumbnail
Gallery Type: Tag Div Slide Gallery
Gallery Title: Test

When I go to save it – the save button already says saved
When I go back to check my settings the Gallery type defaults back to Default.

Is it possible that the gallery can’t slide in a sidebar?

Hope you can help.
Thank you,
Teri

So far we’ve only tried this on our staging site. Where can I send my private login details etc. for you? It’s the top three images in the sidebar that I’m trying to show in a slider. http://greattaste.staging.wpengine.com/sample-page/
Thank you,

@Catalin.
Sorry to be a bug Catalin but have you had time to have a look? My developer logs in today so I was hoping to have some news.
Thank you,

Hello GreatTaste,

Please notice that our theme does not have any such an element for Sliding gallery for pages but only for post pages, sorry! For the pages, you can try using the Ios Slider or Big Grid Slide which will display you only the featured images of your posts and not some images added by you, sorry!
If you want to use such a gallery to your pages, you should try finding a plugin with this functionality and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Thank you @Catalin. Will you ever be activating the feature and widget that is on the appearance/widget dashboard? We’re trying to eliminate as many plugins as possible and we’re also needing to replicate all the pages created with visual composer. Can you tell me which other features previously available from visual composer won’t be available in tag div composer?
Thank you,

Hello GreatTaste,

Most items are available in both page builder with many differences. More recently, it was introduced our own page builder which is named TD Composer. So, that page builder is at the beginning and also, it is in a continuous development. You will not found all the elements which Visual Composer has. From now on, this plugin will be improved with some features which have to be exclusively for this builder. You can use our page builder by default WordPress editor but you should know the shortcodes generated by this plugin. You should use the FrontEnd editor for this page builder, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

I understand your direction to your frontend page builder, and I am trying to move over to your composer. Just for clarification, I was on your composer frontend page builder, trying to add a widgitized sidebar. Building the widgitized sidebar is where I ran into the problem. The widget is there to choose, it’s just not fully functional. Hopefully, you will add this feature soon since its halfway there, so I can get rid of the other composer and/or an additional plugin. Thank you,
