I wish to create a gallery with description of each image. What I currently find is just a simple image gallery. Is there any option currently to achieve this.
1. Gallery of images with description at the side
2. gallery of images with description at the bottom
with each click of the Prev / Next the descriptions too should change.
may be the term i use is not right i don’t know if i should call it gallery. the word slider may be appropriate. kind of News slider. some time a post has multiple short bit of news which can be combined into one Post and each slide displays an image on the right and news related to the image on the left. clicking next will go to the next news bit, without leaving the page.

The theme package does indeed contain the Revolution slider. No need to activate it, simply ignore the activation messages. It is a bundled plugin, you can use it fully without the need of an activation key

I think may be my question was not framed the right way or i didnt know what to call it. i found the solution. Actually in the Newspaper theme it is called Smart List.
1. Ok now I have set up a smart list and during preview I cant view it as smart List. why does this happen ? also the Post templates in my Post > Post Settings are kind of greyed out or washed out (like kind of inactive) Same is the case for the Smart list templates. should i activate something or install something to activate the post templates and smart list templates.
2. I have create a smart list and choosen Smart List 3, I published the smart list without a featured image because I didn’t want the featured image appearing on every slide. then the front page appears without a featured image if I use the featured image then every page has this image and the actual slide or list item image is not appearing fully.

Please provide more details about your smart list settings that you made, some screenshots.

If I understand correctly you want that featured image from post with a smart list to display the featured image only on blocks/grids and not inside the article, if it is so, then you can achieve this on a standard post template without a featured image ( style 5 or style 12 => https://i.imgur.com/g7bmCx5.png), or with a featured image using a custom code CSS to hide the featured image inside the post or a better option is to use a single post template special for a smart list from tagDiv Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/9MxUbtMt9 where you edit the layout using the tagDiv Composer and remove the elements that you don’t want (the featured image)

2. yes you are perfectly right, I need the featured image only on the grid views and not on the article itself. I want this function only on Smart List not on Standard Post. Are you sure that smart list template 1 to 6 on cloud use the featured image only on the block / grid ? let me try it. – yes it is perfect !!
