I’ve uploaded the v3 update to a site that has a multisite setup with 6 sub sites oddly the 6 sub sites seemed ok but the main multisite won’t load and displays this error message instead

I’ve had to restore the earlier version of newsmag v2 but would like to know if their is a solution to this?
Thanks?
Hi
Please make sure that you update thew theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ Make sure that you do a clean update and best way to do it is via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Also after the update is completed clear all caches, purge the cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.
Thanks!
I’ve tried both approaches of updating FTP clean and replace, theme upload within wordpress, even tried the ‘Envato wordpress toolkit version’ all with the same response.
As i mentioned before in all cases the sub sites worked ok it was only the main site that had the issue, the main site does use https:// were its multisites don’t could that be an issue?
Hi
I am not sure if the https protocol could create this issue as the theme have support for it. Also we didn’t tested the theme with a multi site configuration and I can’t provide an accurate answer but most likely some files are not properly copied or the configuration from WordPress is wrong.
Thanks!
I’ve tried it all again once via the filezilla approach in your guide and also the ‘Envato wordpress toolkit version’ both with the same response as before.
I really do not think its a issue with a file not being uploaded correctly as I followed both guides plus I’m sure the Envato toolkit approach must copy all the required fields automatically so any user error on my part should be eliminated.
Will you be investigating the issue anymore as I’ll have to update at some point?
Do you offer any services to investigate further?
