Google Font and Pagespeed

Hi,

I enabled a custom font for post content (“Open Sans” font from Google). When I do pagespeed test, I find that this font loads at begining and come as a CSS blocking page loading. Where as the default font used “Roboto” does not block the pageload as per google page speed.

How can I make my custom fonts not to block the page load?

Hi,

SpeedBooster is configured to move the default fonts at the page bottom – http://screencast.com/t/BbicZXTeALb
You have to edit the file and add conditions for the custom added fonts, check this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Google may also penalize your score when you have multiple resources, you have to check on page source to see if the css was actually moved at the page bottom.

Thank you!
