Google news and Yoast SEO

Hi,
I have purchased newsmag-4. Can I use Google news and Yoast SEO plugins with this theme?

Hi,
You can use Yoast SEO plugins, this is a tested plugin with our theme and should work without problems. About the Google news plugin, I ca not say for sure if this is compatible with our theme or not because we didn’t test it, but most probably should work, you can give it a try.

Hi Udayan,

we are running our Website and the Newspaper Theme (v1.40) with the Yoast Premium and the Yoast News Plugin. We have a few problems with Yoast and Theme. The canocial url breaks as soon you do a scheduled posts. This will cause errors for your SEO and Google will ignore you this posts for the quality news feed.

We still waiting for a fix and more informationen from the TagDiv development theme.

Hi katsar0v,
Please notice that the Newsmag theme is not the same with Newspaper, those are different themes with different implementations.
Also the reported problem is on list to be check and improve for the coming theme updates.
