@bwagner, your .htaccess file can be found via an FTP client or through a server-side file manager. Since it has the . in front of the file name, it is likely hidden by default so you’ll need to enable viewing hidden files to access it.

If you do not want to mess with FTP or SSH or whatever just use this plugin.
