We are using the recommended format for the header ad (I blanked out the href and src for this post). But the ads are not always loading, leaving us with a blank page on mobile. Any suggestion to give priority to the header ad?
<div class=”td-visible-desktop”>
</div>
<div class=”td-visible-tablet-landscape”>
</div>
Hi,
If you use those div container, the ads should appear accordingly. On mobile, the ad entered in the td-visible-mobile container should appear, while the others are hidden.
I could take a look at it, please post a link to where I can see the problem.
Thanks
I have inspected the website, I see an ad on desktop – http://prntscr.com/nlxqly
One on tablet landscape – http://prntscr.com/nlxrak
One on tablet portrait – http://prntscr.com/nlxrl1
But none for mobile – http://prntscr.com/nlxs9l
Are you sure there is a code for mobile entered in the same location where you entered the other ones? – http://prntscr.com/nlxsoz
Please check, the ad should appear if you enter one there.
Thanks for the reply.
We disabled the ad on mobile.
We have very slow internet here in Alaska (5Mbps is considered fast!), and many times the ad is not showing. On mobile when its not showing, we see a blank page with the content below only to been seen after scrolling. Hence we disabled the ad on mobile.
So I am still looking for a solution to give priority loading the ad.
Hi,
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also can try to optimize your website speed, for this please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-6/
Thank you!
The speed of the website is not our problem. Its the speed of our internet.
So there is no way to have the header ad, load before the content. Because that is still what I am looking for.
Hi,
From what I can see your header ad is very big -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QZPIY3KzD -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4FL8wOIBpO7 please try to set that banner ad to 728 x 90px like in our demos -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XdE4m6aPLbj
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
