I’m trying to use a header background image, but it never shows on the website. I did test with different settings and different images. Can you please advise?

I think that you are referring to something like Page Builder + Overlay Menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Or you can use custom css in hide the header, and set a menu in top header.

I am not sure I was understood. What I need is to set a vertical image (30px height) on the top of the menu on each page of website covering a part of the logo:
I suppose there is not such option in the admin settings, so I tried the css below, but no image is displayed:

I did install the new theme version. Is there a specific new option I should be looking for?
These are the current HEADER BACKGROUND settings:
HEADER STYLE is set to “Style 4”, and TOP BAR LAYOUT is set to “Style 4”. No image is shown with these settings.
If header style is set to 1, the image is displayed like this:
So, it looks like the header image option is not working for some header styles.
Correction: HEADER STYLE is “Style 8”

I think you haven’t understood – I need an image at the very top of the website, not in the ad area. Anyway, I included a header ad, just for a test, but no other image appeared anywhere.

First please update to the last version of theme, Newspaper v9.5

If you have child theme please deactivate it until you update/install the theme.
We recommend to be made via FTP.
Only in the last version is available this option.
