Hello,
I am still new to your system and facing the following issues:
1- I used header template 36 ( from the cloud) and nothing this set to be hidden on mobile, however, the lower menu is hidden? why is that?
2- I am unable to show the logo photo in the mobile view, it only shows the text?
3- nothing set to sticky, however, I do have a sticky menu in the desktop, How this work? I thought we need to choose stick for one part? ( it is not sticky on the mobile, how to enable that too)?
4- the sticky menu shows the text log, is it possible to make it show the logo image? or Icone?
thanks,
Caesar
Hi,
I will try to help you.
1. The header style you mention will look like this when on mobile
– http://prntscr.com/nuszle
To see what the sticky mode will show on mobile, activate the sticky view mode
– http://prntscr.com/nut0qz
So you can edit the header in all it’s stages, default desktop + sticky desktop, and also default mobile + sticky mobile. In each you can make modifications if needed.
What exactly is hidden in your case? Let me know.
2. If you don’t want the text as logo on mobile, and wish to display an image, first select the mobile viewport and click on the header logo element
– http://prntscr.com/nut3yj
Then remove the text and tagline text, and select to show the image logo (you have to upload an image) – http://prntscr.com/nut86c
3. As long as there are elements in the sticky mode, there will be a sticky version of the header. If you want to remove the sticky version, activate the sticky mode for desktop or mobile and remove the elements in the header. So for example if you don’t want a sticky header on desktop – http://prntscr.com/nutaje
4. Same here, remove the text and tagline text, select the show image option, and upload an image – http://prntscr.com/nutbop
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Thank you, this was very helpful.
I have another issue with themobile view on IOS, the logo gradient color effects do not show, and the background image does not show.
Thanks
Hi,
Seems there could be an issue on iOS Safari with the background image. Try setting an image specific for mobile as a background on that row, use a smaller sized image if possible. So while editing the header template, select the mobile viewport and add a smaller image as background for the header row – http://prntscr.com/nvffle
That may work, it could be that Safari doesn’t load very big images on mobile. Let me know.
By drawer you mean the modal window that opens when the menu or search icon is clicked?
The colors can be changed in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/nvfhr0
The background image can be changed in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/nvfigh
There are some settings for the fonts as well – http://prntscr.com/nvfim7
Thanks
Hello,
I have tried to change the header background image for both the desktop and the mobile, and for some reason, it did not work, it does not assume the full image ( it takes it as square only). I used similar dimensions to the one came with the header 36. Any idea what is the issue?
For the other point, thanks it is clear, I thought I should do that from the builder.
Thanks,
From what I can see that is the size of the footer logo image, there is a small thumbnail set – https://gayoutradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/what-logo-150×80.png
When setting images you can select the size of the image
– http://prntscr.com/nvvdy0 – http://prntscr.com/nvvegf
The reason I suggested using a smaller background image for mobile particularly, is because from what I can find online Safari may not load big images when on mobile, and also has a problem with backgrounds.
However the same image is used on the live demo of the header, when I test the demo with an iPhone the background loads. What if you check the header demo with an iPhone, does it load? – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/header-template-36/
Hello,
Thanks for the help, I am still facing the following issues:
1- logo image does not show on the mobile, I have followed the steps you provided above, but the logo did not show.
2- The header background still does not show in Safari ( i tried to disable plugins) but the issue did not go.
Kindly help.
thanks,
Hi,
Does it show if you check with an iPhone the demo header? https://cloud.tagdiv.com/header-template-36/
Or what if you change the image to own of your own, does the image appear then? Please let me know. Try changing it only on mobile – http://prntscr.com/o0b8qb then check with the phone.
Thanks

Hi, I have the same problem “2- I am unable to show the logo photo in the mobile view, it only shows the text?”.
My configuration: https://prnt.sc/oyk26e
Did you find a solution?
Thanks!
Hi @Desde el murete,
From what I can see, you have a header template set, but on mobile version this is not displaying, is display the logo text.
Please make sure that you clear all cache and try again, also make sure that all them settings are set as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi!
Everything is fine, I far exceed the requirements. I have clear the cache several times, from wordpress and from cloudfare.
