I have the Newspaper theme, how do I use a Getty embedded image link for a post featured image? I have tried to insert this link everywhere and it does not work! Thanks!

It is impossible for featured image to use external link.

Hi,
As an actual featured image you can only use images from the WordPress media library. You can use external featured videos
