Hi,
Google search console shows error that updated element is missing in hentry markup data
http://take.ms/zO3Sb
Could you please check.
Thanks!
Hello,
Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme as the google structure data errors were fixed. You can follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
I had version 6.6.3 where those problems should have been resolved. I’ve uppgraded to 6.6.4 now, but it won’t help this problem if I understood your release notes correctly.
Please doublecheck that your theme published “updated” element for google markup.
Thanks!
Hello,
I have checked your website in the structure data analysis and it all came out good: http://screencast.com/t/BXlObg80
Please check for errors again and let us know if they are still present.
Thank you!
I’ve done the same too. The problems is that Google Console Search shows errors. It seems that for Google “updated” element is necessary. I assume you could not find this element in the source, right?
Could it be somehow related with the fact, that I turned off showing dates of publications on all pages?
Thanks!
Hello,
Unfortunately we cannot test your site in the console search tool as we need access to do it, but if the hentry data returns errors, it is probably because of the disable of the post date and author. Please try to enable the dates and authors on posts and check again to see if the errors are still there.
If the errors are still there please provide access to our email address: contact@tagdiv.com so we can analyze your website and inspect these errors.
Let us know how it goes.
Hi,
Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and also provide access for google search on our email address so we can inspect the issue.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have not found your email but i could access your google console so I inspected these errors. It seems you will need to enable the author or date if you want these errors to disappear. They simply imply that author and date cannot be found. This is true as you disabled them from the theme panel. If you truly wish to see these errors no more but still want to hide author and date, you can activate them from the theme panel and simply hide author and date with css.
PS. We have not received your email but wp-admin is not needed in this case.
Thank you!
