From the /plugins/ folder from the themeforest zip file download … at least that is how I do it.

Yes, I’ve installed the plugin in that way. But I need to update it. Can I override the old files? I have to deactivate/delete the old plugin?
Following… I updated the theme and now my homepage isn’t working as the visual composer doesn’t seem to be posting the ‘big grid’s correctly??

The latest version of Revolution Slider which is tested with our theme is 5.2.2 as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/cBh0cyCRY9 This kind of plugin comes bundled with our theme. If you want to have the latest version, ensure that you have downloaded the recent update of the theme which includes this plugin and you have to delete the old version and install manually from your latest folder which you have downloaded from Theme Forest (revslider.zip), like this -> http://screencast.com/t/E1LhZnoZC6y Please follow the same steps which are shown in the tutorial for updating the Visual Composer, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/

However, I do not see the instructions on how to install RSv5. It seems to only be a description of why it is not bundled.
Is this merely a matter of FTP’ing the files in the RSv5 folder from the Themeforest download to the “revslider” folder on the server or is there anything else that needs to be done?

As you can see in our documentation this kind of plugin does not come bundled with our theme because has a high dimension but it will come in the folder which you have downloaded from Theme Forest.
