How do I export posts from old site to populate content on the new site?

I purchased Newspaper X and managed to install & activated the theme, required plugins and my chosen demo. I now need to import all posts and theme settings (newspaper 9) from the old site but looks like I keep failing. It’s just a total of 508 posts. Can you please assist!

Hi netiv,
I think that will be easy if you migrate your website, delete the old theme and plugins, also child theme and install the new version after that only adjust it.

Thanks, @Calin for the response, unfortunately, I keep getting The connection was reset error. The XML file is withing the allowed filesize. What could be wrong?
