I essentially want to style the block that deals with quotes in the newspaper theme as I think it is too large, how would I go about doing this?
Hello !
Blocks can be edited using the TagDiv Composer by simply clikcing on them and editing it from the tabs available as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/KysyDpfnON9
Thank you !
Thanks for the answer and sorry for being unclear but I am referring to the blocks in the post, i.e. when I have a block in my post that is a quote.
Hello !
The easiest way is to be changed from editing the post as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/5K6VcEQfJ
Thank you !
I am not able to find a similar editor as your screenshot above? How would I change my editor to the style you have above?
Whops seems like the image didnt come through

Hello !
Please make sure that you have selected the text, that way it should appear, that is a WordPress Option. If it doesn’t work, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL non theme-related plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you !
I only have these plugins installed:

None of them should have any conflict as they are related to the newspaper theme, I just tried opening wordpress in a new version incognito chrome, still the exact same.
Hello !
@theoutliar Please disable newspaper theme and see if the error still persists. In that way we will know what should be the problem.
@mssbruno All what you can do are the options from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/r35g1zxdRdh
Thank you !
But if I disable newspaper theme wont I have to remake my website?
Hello !
@theoutliar No, all the data is stored in the Database not in the theme or plugins. So simply deactivating it will not affect you.
@mssbruno Unfortunately not at the moment. If changing the code will cause multiple issues.
Thank you !
Hey @Vlad S,
So is there a way I can change it to another style? Because all of my block quotes were inserted with the tag < blockquote> and I’d rather have the one like the ‘Quote box center’ available on the Newspaper theme.
So is there a way I can change it once for all the block quotes and make it as a rule? Cause I have a < blockquote> on every previous post.
Thanks again!
Hello !
Unfortunately that is an option from WordPress not Newspaper Theme and I have no knowledge on any other quoting options than the standard blockquote. From what i’ve seen the only way to achieve this is via a plugin but please note that we have not tested any and we cannot offer support for untested plugins due to our support policy: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you !
Okay so sorry for being a complete idiot, but where do I disable it? I cant see it under plugins.
Hello !
You will have to deactivate them first and then delete it as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/yTXSKDxXF
Thank you !
It still seems to persist, I disabled the plugins but I am still not able to modify any of the quote blocks, see the link:

Is there anything else I can do to try and fix this, it is starting to drive me up a wall.
Hello !
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you !
I am sorry but I am not willing to give the password to my website in plaintext over email, there must be some other way around this, that is simply not a safe approach.
