Really I seem lost. Just got the theme two days ago and already there are problems. First, I canot figure out how to post featured article at the very top of the home page. Second grid dp not seem to change and finally, accessing the widget area takes hours, computer hangs every time I go there. What can I do?
Simon, did you add a featured image?
One thing you can try is to install one of the demos. That sets up a lot of things.
Then, just delete all of the demo content.

Our theme does not support featured articles (sticky posts) This interferes with our grid. If you want to have a single featured article, you can use a block to display it and use the block settings to filter just the single post by it’s id: http://screencast.com/t/l8n2QZmrNc

Can I have the customs code to reduce header styles five and six. The header occupies very big space and it’s not nice as that’s not how it should be. I was given a customs code that works only for style 9.

I’m not sure how you want the header reduced, but you can give it a shot by reducing the main menu line height: https://www.screencast.com/t/U6tq2FpKQVQ6On these 2 header styles the logo is also contained ion the menu so the logo will also be shrunk unfortunately.

The header is too big and it should not be so. It takes a big space before readers even get to the article. It’s affecting thousands of people. A CSS code will be able to fix the problem and this will be good for further updates also. There are a myriad of other improvements that I have noticed. As a user, I realized that I am limited in hundreds of ways to do many things. This theme is great, that’s why I am using it, but it needs thousands of improvements on many many sides.
Please provide a link to your site so we can see this spacing. We do not have any spacing on our end nor do we have any reports from ANY users regarding this issue. It only seems to be affecting you.

There are many other things that need to be improved and the fact that people do not say is because most of them believe that this is the best you can provide.
