Im having a little problem setting my homepage or my latests post.
I have it set to my latest post, im also using categories as pages on my menu, the issue is that the word blog appears when I do a search on my domain name it will say http://www.cubatey.com › Blog
how do I remove Blog?

besides i have a custom link page as home but i cant not display as a homepage

I’ve made a search in google and the word Home dos not appear in SERP: http://screencast.com/t/lqvul0ghrC To control the information displayed by google in its search results you have to use a plugin like SEO by Yoas as the theme cannot control them.

Thank you Andrei, but thats because I set up a new homepage or custom link page as the homepage, I do have a home page if I set it on the menu the cubatey.com/home will show, Im gonna set it so you can look at it again, also the custom link page I cant not set it to show like the homepage shows in your demo page

The theme does not control the excerpts displayed by google. Even if you don’t use excerpts google will make it’s own excerpts for your site.
On our demo we use a static page as homepage. I’t a page built with Visual Composer. On your site you’re using blog template which cannot be customized with Visual Composer, you can only chose what module to use for posts layout: http://screencast.com/t/ZOXznRQFw1
