Hi.

In the example page for the tagdiv video category layout http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_video/ you can see there is a black background colour.

I would like to implement this but don’t know how. In the Newspaper 6 Theme Panel I’ve gone into the Background and Theme Colour section. I am only able to set a colour for the whole homepage. Is there a way I can set it just for the Category Top Posts area as in the example? thank you.

Hi,

Yes, you can add a background color(or image) to the row using Visual Composer options, please check this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/background-in-header/

Thanks!

One follow up question please.
I am trying to replicate the look of this example page: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_video/

I have set the background colour for the grid in Visual Composer.
In Theme Panel options I have set the Header Style to Style 5 Full Dark menu with logo.

However I am seeing a white bar between the header and the grid. How do I remove this white bar? Also how do I edit the Top Bar colour? Thank you.

Hi,

You will have to adjust using Design Options(negative margin top, padding) how you wish – http://screencast.com/t/rDZMylHo3J Also you can set the background for Top Bar from Theme Panel > Theme Colors – http://screencast.com/t/pBcMUlUG44O0

Thanks!
