Crafty Ideas template came with an About Me Page and I deleted it because I had one already.
Now I can’t get my page hooked up on the menu and I can’t get rid of the template one.
What am I doing wrong?

I must not have been clear in my post – let me try again.
I had the template for the about me from the Crafty Ideas.
It was linked to the page that was created by the demo.
I deleted the page because I already had one.
BUT the template from the Demo now just shows the image and does not link to the page when I click on it.
How do I get the page linked back on the button? (about me)

I’m sorry but I don’t think you are understanding or I am missing something.
The About Me (what you click on) is not Linked to Anything.
It does not link to the About Me PAGE to bring up what I wrote.
How do I link it to a PAGE?

ok I figured out where the info is coming from finally.

There is a bio box there that you can type your welcome message in.
So my next questions are these:
1) How do I remove it from the home page and put it on a separate page that you get to by clicking the top bar menu item?
2) if you can’t remove it then how do I put in a few words and say “read more” that takes you to the page?
3) how do I make the image smaller? it is coming from Gravatar sight.

1)Do you are referring to the Bio Box message? If you want to change that position, you should do it with TD Composer.
2)Provide some useful screenshots with your desired changes so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
3)Sorry, but the author images can be loaded only with Gravatar plugin and WP User Avatar. The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to make the image smaller.
