Thanks for your reply. Yes, I already went through that document but the problem is what I see under “Visual Composer” in my wp-admin is different than the one shown on that doc.

I just noticed that it shows “Please activate your copy of Visual Composer”
and when I tried to follow the steps to activate it, it’s asking me to pay additional $34 for Visual composer license? what’s all this? why do I need to pay again??
Do I have to purchase separate license for Visual Composer before I can get to that screen shown on the documentation?

Hi,
The block settings are not found in the visual composer plugin settings. They are found on the page edit itself. When you add a block on a page. Please access your page containing the elements and press the green pencil button that appears when you hover over the element: http://screencast.com/t/yKSSu8uJUQxt
The settings you want to change are page specific. The setting cannot be found in the general settings of the plugin.
As for the registration for the plugin you can simply ignore it as mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
