Hello,
I already did a full backup of my website but even now i’d like to spare time by updating the theme correctly. I read that you suggest to remove the old theme e load the new one, but doing so wouldn’t also remove all my customizations? If it would, is there anyway i can save and load them quickly after upgrading?
I’m talking about different font sizes/type, custom CSS, Analytics code, Post Settings, etc.
Btw the new theme looks great, nice job!

There is a guide how to update the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ I suggest to delete the old theme, then upload version 6. Also disable all your plugins when you update and then update the theme’s plugins, you can find them in the /plugins folder. After the update run the script included in the Welcome panel – http://screencast.com/t/eZxxuqvsTir running the script it will import old settings from database and it will change the shortcodes like you can see in the documentation. Also you have to regenerate the thumbs – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/ You may have to re-add widgets on the sidebars, some of them may not be imported or don’t exist anymore.

About the script i’ll need to update, where do i get it? Do i need to download it before updating?

The script is included please take a look in the Welcome panel – http://screencast.com/t/eZxxuqvsTir it will import old settings from database like I said above. Make a full backup of your current installation before update.
