If you want to use child theme to overwrite the files from main theme and don’t lose the custom modifications when you update the theme you don’t have to upload the api plugin. The api plugin was created for advanced users so they can create new modules,blocks, templates as you can see in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-theme-api/

You can use the tagDiv Speed Booster plugin to move the css and js at the bottom of the page, but please note that it is tested only with these plugins – http://screencast.com/t/hcjLnOqh4i2 and if you use other plugins it will be automatically disabled. A lot of people install the plugin without knowing what it does and after that they add many plugins and some of the them are not written fine so the developer took this decision. Also for cache we recommend WP Super Cache and we suggest to be used by default(default settings).

Ok Alin, I understood it now. But may I request your support on this to make the site as fast as the demo site?
One of the core reason using Newspaper framework is to boost the speed of our WP news site on desktop and mobile. May I ask for your private support to aid in configuring td-speed booster plugin as explained? We want to use the champions league background image hence we have the background manager plugin installed because the one that came with Newspaper when activate “stretch” makes the bg image blurred. We are yet to install WP Super cache as recommend. I don’t know the reason why you don’t use w3total cache plugin but its ok so far it makes the site faster.
