How to create menu items on the back top header bar?

I want to insert one or more new menu items on the top black colored header bar. I am a newbie to Newspaper theme. Please someone help me create new menu items without sub categories.

You can simply create a menu and select it in the top bar settings.

Thank you so much for your wonderful answer!

I wanted to create two menu items in the black, top bar header – “Log In” and “Join” However, when I create them, the entire row of black header menus disappear. I am in the dark now! Please guide me to create two menu items. My URL is: https://www.planetpilgrim.website

Hi,

You could enable the default theme Sign in/Join capability

The login will be displayed in the top bar.
From what I can see, at the moment there are menu items in you top bar, but the font color is set to black and they are not visible

You can either change the background color for the top menu, or change the color for the menu items
