Using the tagdiv social counter, I have 3 social media counters in my Newspaper sidebar, but I cannot seem to find anywhere to customize them. I’ve looked everywhere for someplace to input my social media info but nothing works. In the theme panel there seems to be a place but changing that does nothing for the 3 social media bars in the social counter. When I click edit I get the code for that plugin but I cannot read or write code at all. I just want to link those to my Facebook, Youtube and Twitter accounts. I think it should be easy, just by going to the Social Network Setting in the Theme Panel, but changing that did nothing for the Social Counter Plugin!

Hello Robert.
You do not need to go into the theme panel to set up your social counter. It depends on how the sidebar is implemented. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, this is not really working for me with Facebook. The Facebook pages don’t actually match the pages in your documentation. The result is that I am unable to access for some reason the Facebook Access Token … the Mac tries to go get the token and just sits there…I’ve waited like 20-30 minutes several times and got nothing.
When I go to the Facebook developers page I see the following page, nothing at all like you indicated. It has an APP ID, and an APP SECRET number, but they don’t seem to help. So far I a m not able to get the Social media plugin stuff at all…even with the rest of the form filled out.

If you access token does not work it means you are not using the latest version of the social counter. please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then update your social counter plugin by disabling and deleting your currently installed plugin and then installing the new version for the theme package you downloaded from envato.
