Hi,
The best thing to do in this case is to simply download the l;atest version and install it via ftp. The code was changed in such a way from your version that updating with the patches has the same result as simply updating directly. Please use this guide to update your theme to newspaper 7 directly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Please also make sure you update the plugins that come with the theme (visual composer and social counter)

I prefer to stay on the 6.x branch for now. I made changes to the theme that will testing and probably programming (Which I am not so good at to be honest). As long as I can stay within 6.x I can simply do a file by file comparison and see the lines that were changed surrounding my changes. For a brand new branch this will be hard and time consuming.
I will move to 7.x, but only when I have time (e.g. a few spare days) and when it has matured (e.g. a few months to get the bugs out of the new features that were added). So I really need the latest 6.x.
If you cannot find, or are not willing to find, the 5 zip’s requested could you you please send me the full install of the final 6.x version (probably 6.7.2?
