How to fit the featured image in the post?

I have checked your post and I saw that your image is too short than the thumb and that’s why you will get this gray space. Notice that you should try uploading a larger photo which should have the size greater than the thumb.

Notice that the theme only crop the images and not enlarge it. The featured image will be automatically cropped and it will be automatically fit up if the images have at least the size Thumb. I do not understand what do you mean through side menu? Provide more information about this thing and some useful screenshots.

You are talking about two different things. So, on the first side you have a homepage, and in the second one, you have a post page. If you want that the sidebar from your homepage to be displayed on your post pages you should create a new sidebar in Widgets Area from Panel, with these elements and then, from Theme panel you should add this type of sidebar. Notice that the homepage is created using Visual Composer and the post pages cannot be customized with this plugin, sorry!
