There was recently a theme update, but it was more for security, nothing was added or edited on the mobile side, and maybe the Google requirements have changed.
I found this topic that seems to be somehow similar – https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/124529843/how-i-fix-google-core-web-vital-poor-urls?hl=en can you please give a link that has this problem so that I can do more checks and be able to offer you a better solution?

I also have problem with CLS on mobile theme.
Everything is ok on https://pagespeed.web.dev/ since that is static load.
When I use Chrome dev tools I see shift everytime I scroll down from the top of screen or scroll to top.
It seems like breadcrumbs problem on mobile theme.
Here are my findings
In version 12.3 there is a problem with breadcrumbs
In version 11.5.1 there is problem with mobile menu since it happens on tag page too.
There is CLS of 0.11
You have to check in developer tool and scroll. Everytime you scroll from top page down or you slide to top there is shift.
I have multiple licenses and multiple sites.
I updated second site to 12.4
When I look source in Google chrome developer tool, while scrolling I see changes in following code

I don’t know what is that option in theme since on one site I don’t see it and on the other one I see it. Looks like floating menu or something else related to header.

Thera re elements that will create CLS, and one of them is the sticky menu and are other a few elements that are corrected now and will be included in the coming theme update.
If you can provide a link to your website, we can check it and see what can be done to resolve the CLS problems on mobile.
