So I am trying to get third party shortcodes to work within the Newspaper Theme using the tagDiv Composer, when I try and paste in the shortcode using a variety of different elements all it does is displays the shortcode as if it was text.
I read that you should use the Column Text Element for shortcodes, but there is no way to save the edit to the content within the element. When I click the Edit Content button I get a WP Editor but there is no Save option. Just an Add Media button (that also doesn’t work) or to switch between Visual and Text (which also doesn’t work). I have tried re-installing tagDiv, redownloading the theme from the website and pulling out that plugin since I can’t find tagDiv in the plugin search in WP.
If anyone knows how to fix either issue, I would really appreciate it.

Indeed, shortcodes should be entered in text elements such as the column text or text with title. For example – https://www.screencast.com/t/ijR9ZwS5Ye
The editor doesn’t have a save button, once the content is entered in it it should appear automatically, it can be closed after this.
If the WP editor which opens in order to enter the text/shortcode is not working properly, the first step to take is to investigate plugins. Make a quick test, deactivate them all except theme plugins and try again.
Also you could try this in a different browser. Let us know what you find.

I will try deactivating plugins but if you have any other ideas of why this is breaking. I would really appreciate it!
Same to me, its doesnt save.
Be sure that the theme requirements are met, also add the code provided at the bottom of the guide in the htaccess file
