I have used text on sidebar to put in links, but they appear on every page and are no use. How do i make them appear on homepage only

Try to use widget context plugin to put links appear on homepage only

Hi,
Try to use different sidebars, one for the homepage and one, or more for the rest of your website.
In order to do that you need to create a new sidebar and set in it the widgets you need ( like you do ) after that set the sidebar to the page you set as home page.
