Hi!
I was wondering if something would be possible. I have a widget that I would like to insert under every post. Is there a possibility to insert it using ad places – it seems to me that could be the fastest way, to configure my widget and then just insert it somehow like an ad? Or is it simpler to use it as a shortcode, and insert it in a theme template?
If I have to insert it in a template what would be the line (for instance – widget shortcode is: [widget id=”advanced-etsy-widget-2″])
Thank you in advence for answer!
Igor
Hello,
You can implement your widget using a do_shortcode function in the theme post template files or by adding it on a new post tmepalte using the cloud library plugin. You can add the shortcode on the post template in a column text element. Please use this guide to import a post style from the cloud templates and to edit it in the tagdiv composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thank you!
Just one more question – this new function looks great (cloud library), and if I get it right, you can import template and costumize it drag-and-drop way. But I have a template I use for my posts (one of old default ones) – can it also be styled drag-and-drop way like new templates? I mean, that would be easier than going into Child theme and placing shortcode into code. Can the old existing templates be modified like the new ones you import?
Thanks again for answer,
Igor
