Hi – Facebook and Instagram social counter dont show counts. it shows zero followers. I saw another post and only kept our ID: southshorefinelinens (for both FB and INST) but still zero

The bottom line is that you must use theme version 8.7.3 or above (with updated plugins) for the social counter to work properly.
So you could update to the latest version of the theme (8.7.5)

Hi – we followed all the steps. Theme was updated to 8.8. Social counter was reinstalled. Still does not show facebook fans and instagram count. Twitter is fine. When i hover the mouse over the buttons, it gives your URLs.

@chaudhrysohail Edit the page and counter, modify it with your own socials. The counter can be placed in pages, in that case edit the page with the tagDiv composer, click on the counter and modify the settings that appear

It can also be used as a widget for widget sidebars or in the footer, in that case it can be modified in Appearance->Widgets

Each instance of the social counter is independent from the others, if you use for example 3 social counter elements in various locations of the website, each will have to be configured with social data.
