I just purchased the theme and i downloaded onto my computer when i try to upload it into my wp website it says the link has expired what does that mean?

Please check the requirements guide carefully and if needed increase the parameters mentioned in it, or ask your hosting provider to do it for you if possible.
That message you are receiving could be caused by a low max upload size value, like in this similar topic
