When you edit the post normally and add a photo from your gallery for example fill this field from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/YIOWP0NG ; then select the photo and save it. The alt text should be there.
Please edit the post, select the image and make sure you set the title of the image: https://i.imgur.com/YioTS6D.jpg

I can’t agree. I am operating six homepages under your theme. However, no alternative text currently appears in this domain only at joelecorbeau.com. Compare the two domains.

Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme and plugins(11.2).
It could be a plugin conflict for the posts. Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
