I simply could not install Newspaper 9 theme in WordPress

I have just purchased Newspaper 9 theme via Envato Market. I then follow the instructions by uploading the newspaper.zip file via Appearance —-> Themes. However, after the upload is complete. The site directed me to the 404-error page. I have tried installing other themes, there was no problem installing them at all. This problem occurred only with the Newspaper 9 theme.

Hi,

Please be sure to install the actual theme, not the whole package. The full theme package zip contains multiple files – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/

Here is a guide with steps for installing either by WordPress or by FTP

Also try and increase the “upload max filesize” size as mentioned in the requirements guide, as well as the other parameters
