I dont want my users to log in or subscribe to view some content. I want all pages to be freely available. Please help me disable the subscription locker. I tried trashing it but some content is still being held back and asking for subscription.

First make sure that you don’t use elements from tagDiv Opt-In Builder, like menu login, leads -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/shortcodes/, if you use then please delete them with right-click.
After you can simply disable the plugin.

I am editing thee website template bottoms up. So the entire theme with demo content is installed and slowl I am replacing it with original conttent.

If see shortcodes after you disable the plugin, then means that there is a shortcode from plugin, so you need to activate it and delete the element.
