Hi Guys, we’ve defined a custom post type but it’s not being included in search results? is there a search filter function to which we need to add custom post types?

Hi,
Unfortunately we cannot say for sure where things might have gone wrong as we do not know how you implemented the CPT. The search will grab custom post types by default: http://screencast.com/t/W0n4GC99
Our theme uses the default WP search so there is no special place in the theme to add code to .you simply need to create your CPT properly within WP standards. You can try to download our books pot type and replicate the code for it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
