Hello,
I have newspaper theme v6.5 installed on my website.
URL – https://www.naukrinama.com/hi/
Category page URL – https://www.naukrinama.com/hi/sarkari-naukri/
I have enabled the Infinite Load / Infinite Load with Load More option in the backend, but it is not showing up on the front end.
I have tried clearing the cache but the issue is not resolved.
I can see an error in console in theme where an uncaught reference to a jQuery is found, but I am unable to resolve it.
When i change the setting to pagination it works well, but infinite load doesn’t.
Please let me know how to get it resolved.
Hello,
Please update your theme to the latest version as the pagination issues were caused by the new version of wordpress. The latest version of the theme is 6.6.5 (there were quite a few updates since 6.5)
You can use this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Let us know id the problem is still there after the update.
Thank you!
Hello Bogdon,
Thanks for your reply !
Isn’t there any other way to get this resolved because i have done a lot of custom work on the site, and hence upgrading the theme would be a tedious task for me. I have already tried the code given in your sticky post in my function.php file but it din’t solve the issue. Also the load more option or the infinite load is not evening getting displayed. So I think there must be some other issue. I am currently running the latest version of wordpress.
Also can you let me know how can I resolve the jQuery error coming in console of this page :
Category page URL – https://www.naukrinama.com/hi/sarkari-naukri/
Looking forward for a revert and getting this resolved !
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict, and not theme related at all. Sometimes plugins conflict with each other or the theme and js errors occur. A java script error could break the pagination. Upon checking your website, I saw that you are not getting any js errors in your console apart from a few mixed content ones: http://screencast.com/t/lJwsbuvIdcSt and the category pagination works as expected.
Maybe you figured it out in the meantime or the plugin causing the issue got updated…
In any case, when you see js errors in the console, try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. Then check again. Plugins are the number 1 reason for this type of errors.
Thank you!
Hello,
@jurisss I just tested this feature on my end again but i cannot recreate this issue. Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and reset cdn files if you use it. If the problem does not go away after that, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-amin so we can take a look at the issue. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
