Install demo will erase my existing posts?
I already have a website with existing theme. If I install your theme and install demo, will all my posts with images disappear?
I don’t want to lost all my posts before. I just want to use your theme with all my existing posts.
Calin, can you please clarify your response? “if those was made buy you, if you edited posts/pages from demos, those will be remove”?
If I have a site running default demo and I install the politics demo theme, will I loose any of my posts?
What Calin means to say is, if you have created any original content(posts or pages), those won’t be removed. If there is any content(posts or pages) on your site, which came bundled with the existing demo, those would be removed if you install a new demo. No content, that includes posts or pages, that were created by you specifically will be deleted during the process. Also, you could take a backup, if you so wish in the future to rollback to the old theme or previous demo.

I went ahead and installed the political demo, and then decided to uninstall it, now my site is totally messed up, i’ve reinstalled the theme and still doesn’t display correctly, any advise on how to get back to normal? I did a hostgator restore from backup but it’s still messed up

reggiesaylor did you backup your database? because all the changes are set there, if you had a demo install, after that you install another one, after that you uninstall the demo will remain without demos and if you restore a backup only on them files, this will not set back the demo settings in database, so you’ll need to reinstall the demo that you had.
Make sure that you always make a full backup to your theme ( theme and database).

Hi there, I’ve reinstalled the demo and even removed the theme newspaperx and reinstalled it, but there is still no demo style, and all posts are in a row in one column on the left.

I exported my posts, did a new install on another server and installed theme with fast demo no content, imported posts and still all posts on left column, now is this possible? redplus.org is where I just imported the post files.

For me your website look normal, I think that the problem is that you want you have a static page set as homepage, now you have set the latest posts blog.
