Instragram Widget doesn't show new posts

The Instragram widget doesn’t show new posts.

I tried also to set a different account (eg: Ferrari, or CocaCola) but if i do that the message:”Instagram data error: Instagram html data cannot be retrieved” appears.

Hi,

This can be some cache plugin problem, please deactivate all cache plugin that you have , clear all cache and try again.

I cleared the cache and also tried disabling the plugin (W3 Total Cache) but the problem still occurs.

Hi,
Please make sure you also chec kyour cdn server if you use one as this seems to be a caching issue. Please also contact your host and ask to disable any hosting side cache. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Then try to use another Instagram account as a test to see if the latest posts are being grabbed. Then switch back to your account. This will also reset the instagram widget.
Let us know if this worked.

I just installed the Newspaper 9 theme and the Instagram plugin in the footer does not update when I add new images to Instagram.

I’m not using a cache plugin.

When I switch to another account I see their images and I see my images when I use my ID, but I do not see the new posts on Instagram.

@dave4math The Instagram section should synchronize every 3 hours or so. We could take a look at the issue if that is not happening in your case. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you for replying.

First I find it offensive that you would ask for admin logon.

Second, great theme. I love it. Right now I am having other issues with it though. The instagram in the footer does not serve scaled images so that it takes a big hit on speed. Any ideas how to fix that?

I don’t mind the every three hours. In fact that is best.

Hi,

Only as admin we can investigate properly, other user roles can’t have access to the theme panel for example. This would be common practice in such cases, sorry if this offended you. It was not my intention to do so.

I remember trying to find solution to optimize the images served by Instagram, but no definite solution was found at the time
