So I was looking at my mobile theme for the site after setting it up today and I noticed an issue with the featured block, as well as the heading for the block listing wasn’t styled in any way. Please see picture below.

Hello,

The mobile theme will not use visual composer so it will not use the visual composer shortcodes. Please remove every element from your homepage mobile editor as the mobile theme uses a predefined layout. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

For some reason I can’t get rid of the html for the visual composer on the mobile theme, as there is no text on the mobile editor for the home page.

Hello,

Try delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again. Let me know if you still have trouble with it.

Thank you!

So that fixed the code displaying, but there is no 3 image featured posts layout, as described in the documentation.

Hello,
the 3 featured posts will appear once you add your posts in the ‘featured’ category. That is how the big grid is populated.
Thank you!

Thank you for the support! How can I give a review? Couldn’t seem to give a review on theme forest the other day.

Also, wondering if there is anyway to make a background picture fit properly without having it stretched, as in past themes I haven’t needed to stretch the background to make it fit properly.

Hello,

You can rate our theme if you want from the envato platform on this page: https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/reviews/5489609
As for the background, your image has to be bigger than the content for anything to show up. We suggest updating a 1020×1080 image for hd monitors as they are the most commonly used. Also make sure you set it to full image in this setting, not thumbnail: http://screencast.com/t/Ntylgi3I92

Thank you!

Thanks! Also wondering why the theme panel options for the mobile theme aren’t being taken into effect.

Nevermind I figured out the solution.
