I am using the Newspaper theme with Learn Dash to host/sell an on-demand course. For example: https://www.edible-alpha.org/courses/food-business-financial-statements/.
I am wanting a course sidebar to appear as part of the layout (utilizing the Learn Dash widgets for progress and course outline in the Appearance => Widget Area), and have my course sidebar selected both specifically on the course as well as in the Newspaper theme panel as showing. However, it is not displaying on the site’s front end.
Any thoughts as to how I can address the issue?

As I can see you are using CPT, for this you need to use a template that has a sidebar (the default one is without a sidebar). You can use for the custom post types the standard templates, for this you can try our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
