I was wondering if you guys knew how I could create something like this. Preferably on both the home-page in Visual Composer and the Widget Sidebar.

On the top right-hand side they have the small website logos left-aligned, and the buttons right-aligned. Is there any way to do this in Newspaper?

Hi,
you can do this in newspaper with a custom textbox. You can add html to it and create whatever html allows you to. Images, text and buttons are pretty easy to create in html. The theme offers a buttons shortcode to use as well. You can follow this tutorial for it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/increase-users-engagement-add-custom-buttons-posts/
You can create the layout on an emty post and then copy the html from text mode or you can create it on a page in a text box element and again copy the content in the sidebar text widget.
