I was trying to update a page on my website and got this error message.

Hi,
Please make sure you ae using the last theme version 12.7.1 and the theme plugins are not modified/edited in code. Also, in case you are using a child theme, please set the main theme to see if the problem persist.
Another thing that can be checked is if the problem persist if only tagDiv plugins are used.

Ok, so you have a very old theme version, you need to update the theme manually using cPanel/FTP. You need to download the theme pancake from the themeforest account.

I am not sure what a theme “pancake” is? Can I just upload the wordpress zip file and install through wordpress?

It’s the “all files” zip – then you unzip that, and inside will be instructions/docs, theme zip, and plugins zip.

I am still having issues. I am not able to find the plugins zip or the instuction sheet.
What would happen if I delete the current newspaper theme and install the new one with the wordpress installable zip file?
